Many women, and men for that matter, across the world are trying to figure out what men want in a relationship so that they can get theirs to go the distance with him. As tempting as it is to believe that men only care about sports, sex and rib-eye steaks, its important not to believe these cliques. Men have emotional needs that can make them just as fragile as women.
At the end of the day, we all want to have fun with the person we’re in a relationship with and know what it takes to make them happy. With that said, its great that you want to know what he wants in the relationship. The first thing most men want in their relationships is acknowledgment for the things that they do.
A lot of men feel that they are belittled and treated in ways that make them feel inadequate by their partners. Men would like to be acknowledged, loved, appreciated, and praise by their partner for the things that they do right in the relationship. So don’t criticize your man because you feel that he doesn’t care about the things you care about. Support him no matter.
The next thing for what men want in a relationship is fidelity and commitment just like women do. Just like women think men will leave them for the next prettier face, men think that too sometimes. Stay committed to him when things get tough and he’ll do the same. He can trust you than you can trust him.
Another thing for what men want in a relationship is the ability to be vulnerable and strong at the same time. By this I mean that you need to be able to do things like laugh at yourself when its appropriate. Be strong, courageous, and be able to handle your emotions and not let them get out of control. A lot of times women can confuse their man for a girlfriend. While he does love you, sometimes “silence” is the best thing you can do for him.
Men want a partner who has stability emotionally. A lot of women just think that men are only interested in having a good time and not opening to share things about themselves. If a good man is someone who is willing to be open and he expects that too from his partner.
Another thing that men want in a relationship is no manipulation in it. A lot of women believe that men aren’t interested in communication and the only way that they get their needs met is by forcing the man to do something. Ask him instead of trying to force him to do things that need to be met. Lastly be fun with him. Men love a partner with a sense of humor and do things that show your confidence. This is what men want in a relationship.
